How to reset the Apple TV 2

Occasionally, you may have a problem with the Apple TV 2. Here are some indications that it may need to be reset:
- Picture freezes
- Can't connect to wifi/internet
- Netflix viewing problems
- Audio problems
- Any other unresolved problem
Resetting the unit will not erase any settings on your Apple TV 2, it will only reboot the device, which fixes most problems.
If you have the silver remote that came with the Apple TV, press the MENU button and the down button at the same time. When the light on the Apple TV starts flashing rapidly, let go of the buttons and the Apple TV 2 will reboot.
If you have the white remote, you can reset it the same way, press the MENU button and the down button at the same time. When the light on the Apple TV starts flashing rapidly, let go of the buttons and the Apple TV 2 will reboot.
